Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to St Peter’s CE Primary School, a caring and nurturing Church of England school where every child is known, valued and inspired to flourish.

At the heart of our school community are our school values of kindness, belonging, peace and courage. These values underpin our Christian ethos, are inclusive of all faiths and  shape our vision and everything we do—from the way we learn and play, to how we support one another and grow together. We believe that every child is a precious gift, and we are committed to helping each one discover their unique strengths and talents.

Our school is more than just a place of learning—it is a place of welcome and warmth, where children feel safe, loved and encouraged to be the person God made them to be. We foster a deep sense of belonging, ensuring that every child knows they are part of something special. Through kindness, we build relationships that last, and through peace, we nurture hope, resilience and spiritual growth. We also celebrate courage—the courage to try, to care, to stand up for what is right, and to become the best version of ourselves.

As a Church of England school, our Christian ethos is woven into daily life. Worship, reflection and celebration are central to our rhythm, and we work in close partnership with our local church and wider community to enrich the lives of our pupils.

Whether you are a prospective parent, a visitor, or a member of our school family, we hope you feel the warmth and joy that defines St Peter’s. We invite you to explore our website and discover more about our vision, our curriculum, and the amazing children who make our school such a special place.
